NORTH SOUND Young Adult Battle of the Bands is a musical showdown that brings together talented young musicians from across the Pacific Northwest for an evening of live music and friendly competition. The Battle of the Bands Champion will receive a coveted spot on the Snohomish Block Party Mainstage, with additional prizes for the top 3 bands. Attendees can enjoy the vibrant atmosphere of Kings Hall while connecting with fellow music enthusiasts, weigh in on their favorite band and celebrate the creativity of our local youth.

The Yellow Peddled Flowers (Snohomish)
“Head-banging beats, impressive guitar solos, and catchy riffs,” this psych/garage rock trio from the heart of Downtown Snohomish is candidly funky and will irresistibly get you in the blues. Once you see them play for a small price to pay, your world will never be the same.
Washington Creative District (Edmonds)
Named after a random sign that guitarist/singer/songwriter Andrew saw 7 minutes away from his house, the Washington Creative District is primarily a rock band.
Voodoo Sex Dolls (Seattle)
Raw and eclectic, their guitar heavy sound melds low fi punk, grunge, and metal with singer-songwriter lyricism for a genre defying, DIY sound that embodies the turbulence and ecstasy of the human experience.
Sunbather Die (Seattle)
This trio is based in a Ballard basement that is too short to stand in! Longtime friends and brothers draw influence from everything on the planet.

This teen sister duo from Seattle started playing music together when they were barely able to walk.
